Paper Toy Parts

The pulp and paper mill group of parrots supplies Things for Wings with our Fandangles.  This flock works closely with the forest parrots, and are experts in foraging.  We enjoyed getting to know these busy parrots at the pulp mill.

We watched as they produced the paper: they made one, then shredded one. They made one, then shredded one.  No wonder they enjoyed their work so much.  They explained to us that shredding and foraging (also known as ransacking) is a very important aspect of a caged birds' life.  Searching and shredding occupies most of a wild parrots day.  Things for Wings offers your companion parrot an array of paper to create shreddable bird toys.
